Biography

Sheri Queen writes cozy paranormal mysteries, contemporary romantasy, and urban fantasy set in New York’s Hudson Valley. Her stories feature powerful witches, shifters, ghosts, supernatural mysteries, found family, romance, animal sidekicks, and magical chaos.

Born in a rural town along the Hudson River, Sheri spent part of her childhood living in an old library—literally—and grew up surrounded by stories, local legends, and the kind of folkloric history that makes the Hudson Valley feel just a little haunted.

Sheri received her MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and is a member of Sisters in Crime, as well as PennWriters. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys traveling to new places, discovering fresh inspiration, and wandering through old graveyards—purely for research, obviously.

Sheri began her publishing career after age 50, returning to school to earn her MFA in Writing Popular Fiction and building a writing life around supernatural mystery, romance, folklore, and magical worlds.
